First Course, a 16-week culinary training program, needed more students.
They also needed more restaurants and other food service employers to
provide internships and hire their graduates. We worked with First Course
to create a brochure, rack cards, posters and other print materials to
show and tell some success stories.
These materials were distributed to professionals at referring agencies,
and also to schools, employment offices and libraries. New students have
found their way to the First Course kitchen. And local food industry professionals
are discussing ways they can get involved with this innovative program.
We used the photos and stories behind these materials to generate publicity.
Inspiring and informative stories in newspapers and magazines helped created
even more buzz about First Course.
